Fashion News Roundup: Mark Ronson Weds Josephine de la Baume in Style, Scarlett Johansson Channels Bardot, and Anne Hathaway Stuns in New Tod’s Campaign

Kim Who?: Mark Ronson wed Josephine de la Baume this weekend and, unsurprisingly, the duo–clad in a red pinstripe suit and cleavage-baring white gown (respectively)–look unbelievably fashionable. {PopSugar}

Paying Tribute or Shilling Champagne? Scarlett Johansson channels Brigitte Bardot in a Lulu Gainsbourg video for dad Serge Gainsbourg’s song “Bonnie & Clyde,” which features a gorgeous Johansson writhing around in what looks like a bed sheet and drinking champagne–and even features the young starlet’s vocals instead of Bardot’s. While the video is ostensibly a tribute to Gainsbourg, we think it looks a whole lot like an ad for Moet Chandon champagne, for which Johansson is also a spokesperson. {Huffington Post}

Something Is Really Off About Stella Tennant in Vogue Italia: See all the images from Vogue Italia‘s Ethel Granger-inspired shoot. Frightening. {Fashion Gone Rogue}

The Inevitable KKK-Related Kardashian Gaffe: The only time it isn’t funny to change C’s to K’s in Kardashian mentions is when it ends up sounding like a Klu Klux Klan reference. This is exactly what happened in a Kardashian Kollection press release, which apparently read, “Join the stylish Kardashian klan on September 6th at the private studio of the legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz for an exclusive preview of their fabulous new fashion Kollection for Sears.” 1) Not ok. 2) Can we go to this? {New York Observer}

The Worst Mother-In-Law Horror Stories Round-Up: Our Readers Speak Back! - Babble (blog)

images8 The Worst Mother In Law Horror Stories Round Up: Our Readers Speak Back! It seems our readers know all to well about having a "monster-in-law"!

Last month I wrote about “10 Things A Mother-In-Law Should Never Utter To A Daughter-In-Law”. It garnished not only heartfelt emotion, but often irate response. While a handful of readers did write in to say that they adored their mothers-in-law, the majority of readers said that their husband’s mothers cause them ongoing grief.

On one side of the argument, a couple of mothers-in-law commented that perhaps daughters-in-law are also responsible for the ensuing family conflicts. Certainly, each and every family is different, so it’s impossible to put any family under a one-size-fits-all solution.

Yet that being said, many readers have big problems with the woman who gave birth to their husband. After reading my list of what MILs should never say, a bunch of readers felt that my list was too tame compared to what their mothers-in-law actually say or do to them on a regular basis.

Wondering exactly what these stories of cranky mothers-in-laws are? Well, just scroll down because we’ve compiled a list of the top readers mother-in-law horror stories!

(Stay tuned this month for more on how to mend a relationship with your mother-in-law, and if you are a mother-in-law yourself, leave us a comment on your thoughts and experiences with your daughters-in-law!)
