Theyskens’ Theory Takes Marc by Marc’s Old Spot: Irene really did a number on the NYFW schedule. Following Marc Jacobs’ announcement that his show would move from Monday to Thursday due to time lost, it has just been announced that Theyskens’ Theory won’t be showing Monday either. Instead, Olivier is sliding into the Tuesday 4pm slot, which Marc by Marc had until they moved that up to the former Marc Jacobs Collection slot on Monday. It’s like musical chairs! {WWD}

The Inevitable KKK-Related Kardashian Gaffe: The only time it isn’t funny to change C’s to K’s in Kardashian mentions is when it ends up sounding like a Klu Klux Klan reference. This is exactly what happened in a Kardashian Kollection press release, which apparently read, “Join the stylish Kardashian klan on September 6th at the private studio of the legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz for an exclusive preview of their fabulous new fashion Kollection for Sears.” 1) Not ok. 2) Can we go to this? {New York Observer}

JC Penney’s Anti-feminist Message: JC Penney is was selling a shirt for young girls that reads, in a cutesy, colorful font, “I’m too pretty to do homework so my brother has to do it for me.” The caption next to it reads, “”Who has time for homework when there’s a new Justin Bieber album out? She’ll love this tee that’s just as cute and sassy as she is.” Yes, we’re serious! The shirt has thankfully been taken off JC Penney’s site since we started writing this. {The Hairpin}

Karl for Macy’s Hits Stores: Karl Lagerfeld for Macy’s hit stores today! As usual, Racked was on the front lines a.k.a. Macy’s Herald Square a.k.a. Coco Rochaland, apparently. Shoppers were snatching it up fast, but sales people said they had plenty in stock. {Racked}

Watch: Anna Wintour Doesn’t Think She’s Intimidating

Forbes just released their list of the World’s Most Powerful Women and, as expected, Anna Wintour made the cut. What is surprising: she’s only #69. Though it’s expected that politicians would top an editor (Angela Merkel was #1 and Hillary Clinton is #2), we were a little shocked that Lady Gaga came it at #11 (the highest non-politician or businesswoman on the list) and Beyoncé was #18.

But back to Anna.

Some highlights from her interview:

On her reputation as intimidating:

Well I don’t think of myself as intimidating and I assure you all the people that work with me on a day-to-day basis don’t think that either. I think that’s just something that’s been fabricated by the media and, as you well know, once something is out there, particularly in today’s world, it just gets exaggerated. I keep my head down and do the job to the best of my ability.

Her advice for the next generation’s influencers:

Just be true to yourself, and listen as much as one is able to to other people whose opinions you respect and look up to but in the end it has to come from you. You can’t really worry too much by looking to the left and the right about what the competition is doing or what other people in your field are doing. It has to be a true vision.

As for the rest of the list, there are a few well-deserved names you’ll recognize. Oprah gets a very appropriate #14, Angelina Jolie is #29, Gisele is #60, J.K. Rowling is #61, and (finally) some designer love at the bottom with Miuccia Prada at #79 and Diane Von Furstenberg at #91.
