Showing its power in the weekend box office rankings, “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” took the top honors raking in more than $50 million.
The action flick starring Channing Tatum and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson comes in second place for the highest grossing Easter weekend box office record behind “Wrath Of The Titans” in 2010.”
Animated adventure “The Croods” sits pretty in second place with $26.6 million to bring its cumulative earnings to $88.8 million.
“Tyler Perry’s Temptation” and “Olympus Has Fallen” rounded out the top earners bringing in $22.5 million and $14.1 million, respectively.
