Justin Bieber on Dealing With Fame: "I Know Who I Am And I'm Very Much in Control"

Life can be pretty lonely at the top. Just ask Justin Bieber, who has been making plenty of headlines this year for his outrageous pranks, outbursts on Twitter, and most recently, a little capuchin monkey.
As a result, the "Beauty and a Beat" singer tells the May issue of Teen Vogue, he's learned to keep his circle of friends small and tight-knit.

"I get good vibes from people all the time, and I probably could get along with them and be their friend, but now I just don't trust anybody," the 19-year-old pop star told the magazine. "Literally, my phone never rings. I only have, like, four people that I keep in contact with."
"I don't need a bunch of friends to make me happy," he continued. "I just need the people close to me that I love, that's all."

Just last week, Bieber was accused of threatening and physically assaulting a neighbor, and the case is currently under investigation.
More recently, Bieber was forced to leave his little capuchin monkey in quarantine after landing in Munich, Germany, on Thursday, March 28. The singer said that he's choosing not to let naysayers get under his skin, however.

"I know who I am and I'm very much in control," he said of dealing with rumors about his personal life. "I don't need to address every speculation. Remember when Cam'ron dissed Jay-Z? Jay-Z didn't even respond. Why didn't he respond? Because he's Jay-Z."
The teen added that in spite of his occasional outbursts online, he's also making a conscious effort not to address specific commenters on social media -- or, in his eyes, they win.
"My Twitter is really nice," he said. "I have so many fans that I rarely ever see a nasty tweet. …I see so much stuff on the Internet, sometimes I just want to go to Twitter and just go after people. But then I think twice: If someone if dissing me, I'm going to make this person way more famous by tweeting them."

Bieber to Be Prosecuted
According to TMZ, the 19-year-old singer will likely be facing criminal charges after allegedly spitting on and threatening his neighbor, who recently complained about Bieber’s reckless driving.
I hate when the law gets involved too early with these self-destructive celebrity twits. Better to let him think he’s above the law and wait for him to commit a serious felony where he can do some real time. All these ticky tack charges just prolong the time it will take to see Jesus and Zuel from cell block D help him rediscover his youthful falsetto. Let Bieber be Bieber and the Karmic raping will make the angels sing.

Bieber Spits on the Dick Next Door
Justin Bieber continues his Napoleonic antics by spitting in a neighbor’s face and threatening “I’m gonna fucking kill you.” It seems that the world’s most famous singing lesbian got into an altercation with the guy who lives next door in the exclusive Calabasas neighborhood after coming back from performing his shitty music overseas. The guy confronted Biebs about driving around their rich barrio too fast in his brand new Barbie Dream Ferrari. He also said that the rent boys and Disney rejects that hang out with Biebs were making a lot of noise while he was away. The dude called the cops and said that Biebs hocked a globber in his face and threatened to kill him in his high pitched gelding voice. Now, I totally respect trying to rip off Justin Bieber, but I wonder if there isn’t a bigger issue at stake here. Namely, would you want to seem like you were intimidated by Bieber?
Claiming assault and battery after getting into an altercation with Justin Bieber is like crying out in pain after being licked by a kitten. If Justin Bieber had threatened me with death by his power fists, I would be struck with a serious moral and manly dilemma. Do I swing at him, shattering him into even smaller pieces and end up being sued into oblivion by his army of lawyers? Do I ignore it for the pathetic flailing of a little girl on her period that it probably is? Or do I do what this neighbor seems to be trying to do and get money from him? Yep, door number one. I’d clock him. It’d be worth the next thirty years of legal misery.

Justin Bieber 'attacked and threatened his neighbour'
No one was arrested and few details were immediately available. A representative of Bieber, Melissa Victor, did not immediately return a request from AP for comment.
Online schedules indicate the "Baby" singer is in the midst of a European tour and performed a show in Poland on Monday night.
Authorities were called to the Calabasas scene just after 9am on Tuesday, said Steve Whitmore, spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
"There have been allegations made against Mr Bieber of battery and making threats," Whitmore said.
It was unclear who called authorities, and whether there might have been previous problems between the 19-year-old singer and neighbours, Whitmore said.

08 Mar 2013Bieber concert: fans 'disgusted' at late start
05 Mar 2013In recent years, the Canadian singer has been constantly chased by paparazzi while publicly morphing from an almost angelic mop-topped teen to an adult battling a bad boy image.
Recently, Bieber lashed out at paparazzi and lunged at one photographer as members of the singer's entourage held him back.
Last summer, he got a speeding ticket while trying to avoid a bevy of photographers on a Los Angeles freeway in his distinctive chrome Fisker Karma.
He collapsed backstage during a recent London concert and cancelled a performance in Portugal.
Prosecutors decided against filing charges after the pop star was accused of kicking and punching a photographer outside a Calabasas cinema in May 2012.
Earlier this year, an ex-bodyguard sued Bieber for alleged assault and more than $420,000 in unpaid wages. Moshe Benabou claims Bieber repeatedly punched him in the chest after an argument over the singer's entourage.
Lately, the singer has taken to taking his shirt off in public places.
The investigation was first reported by TMZ.com.

If there’s one thing Fashion’s Night Out is good for, it’s seeing celebrities. While it can be annoying to navigate the streets, it is pretty cool to see so many big names stepping out to support the fashion industry. And by so many we mean SO MANY– From Miss J and Miss Piggy to Justin Bieber and Victoria’s Secret Angels, check out our gallery of the celebs who celebrated Fashion’s Night Out in New York and L.A.

Justin Bieber Films Anti-Text and Drive PSA - Gather Celebs News Channel
Justin Bieber was spotted outside of Atlanta, Georgia on Monday, filming a public service announcement warning teens and others about the horrible dangers of texting while driving.
According to a report from Celebrity-Gossip.net, Justin was actually in Avondale Estates, Georgia--not far from Atlanta, and he was putting his celebrity status to very good use. Hopefully those who see his latest PSA will give some serious thought before texting while driving.
Texting While Driving is a web site that defines the perils of sending text messages while operating a motor vehicle. Their studies concluded that people who text while driving often turn their eyes away from the road for five seconds--and that is plenty long enough to cause a fatal car accident. Add to that the fact that the driver's mind is concentrating far more on the text than on his or her driving, and reaction time is slowed considerably more.
Hopefully Justin Bieber can convince teens that texting while driving is truly a matter of taking their lives--and those of others--into their own hands in a very reckless way. The subject is all over the news. Drivers education programs stress the importance of eliminating all driving distractions--including text messaging--but teens, and adults as well, still do it every single day. Perhaps fans of the Biebs will give it a bit more thought if someone of his celebrity status urges them not to text and drive.
While filming the PSA, Justin Bieber mingled with fans and even posed for pictures with them. Even though many of these fans are way too young to be licensed drivers, perhaps they will take Justin's message home and share it with their parents, older siblings and caregivers.
What do you think? Are teens more likely to listen to someone like Justin Bieber telling them not to text and driver than their driving instructors or their parents? Do you think his PSA can really make a difference?
At the very least, one must give Justin Bieber credit for making this public service announcement. He doesn't need to donate his time in this way, and hopefully by doing so at least one life may be saved from this dangerous distraction that takes place in epidemic proportions on U.S. streets and highways.
