Messed Up Kim Delaney Kicked Off Stage at Liberty Medal Award Ceremony - International Business Times

The actress best known for playing Detective Diane Russell on the drama television series "NYPD Blue", delivered an incomprehensible speech at Philadelphia's National Constitution Center Thursday night and was kicked off the stage during the Liberty Medal Award Ceremony to former defense secretary Robert Gates.

Delaney was a complete embarrassment as she slurred and uttered inappropriate and incoherent sentences about having "served in active military duty family for five years."

"I've seen soldiers come home with painful life altering injuries borne of their time and service," she said, slurring. "I've attended numerous military funerals, including that of my best friend's son."

The problem, apart from the rambling, was she hasn't done any of these.

"It's all make believe. I do that as a job. It's make believe," she said nearly two minutes into her speech. "I have the luxury to do all of this on a television show."

She was escorted off stage before she could finish her speech as the audience started growing increasingly uncomfortable.

The 49-year-old actress who stars on the Lifetime television drama, "Army Wives, " has a history of substance abuse. In 2002, Delaney was arrested in Malibu, California, for suspicion of drunk driving after she refused to take a breathalyzer test. She subsequently pleaded no contest and was sentenced to two-years probation, fined, and ordered to take a defensive driving course.

According to an ABCNews report, the National Constitution Center or representative of the actress hasn't responded to the incident.

Ted Haggard, Gary Busey to Trade Wives on Celebrity Wife Swap - International Business Times

Ted Haggard's marriage survived revelations that the evangelical pastor has engaged in gay sex and used crystal meth, so trading wives with Gary Busey for the show "Celebrity Wife Swap" shouldn't be too much of a strain.

Producers of "Celebrity Wife Swap" confirmed to the Colorado Springs Gazette that Haggard, pastor of the nondenominational St. James church in Colorado Springs, will be trading partners with Gary Busey, an actor and born-again Christian. Busey is not married but has a child with longtime girlfriend Steffanie Sampson.

Haggard regularly denounced homosexuality from his pulpits as senior pastor of New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colo. and  president of the National Association of Evangelicals. He was forced to resign both positions in 2006 after being exposed for having sex and taking meth with a male masseuse in Denver.

"I think that probably, if I were 21 in this society, I would identify myself as a bisexual," Haggard told GQ after the scandal broke.

Still, Haggard has remained married to his wife Gayle, with whom he has five children. It was not clear whether Sampson would participate in the show.

It seems like Lady Gaga is ready for a real 'monster' in her life.

It has been rumored that Lady Gaga is dating her hottie "You & I" video co-star and 'Vampire Diaries' werewolf Taylor Kinney.

Quoting sources, People reported that Gaga and Kinney had taken their on-screen love off-screen and were "hooking up" in real life. Gaga, 25, and Kinney, 30, met on the video shoot in July.

Kinney, the werewolf in the 'Vampire Diaries' series, played Gaga's mad scientist love interest in her "You and I" video.

Gaga and Kinney were recently spotted over Labor Day weekend walking hand in hand in the Mission Viejo, Calif. and a source close to Gaga confirmed the news that both "were hanging out" over the holiday.

"It was just casual at first, but things are getting pretty hot and heavy," a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com.      

RadarOnline said that a source had spotted Gaga and Kinney having a drink at The Sneak Joint in California on September 4.

"It just looked like some hot couple making out, but then I realized it was Lady Gaga," Sneak Joint patron told RadarOnline.com.

Gaga was earlier linked with New York bartender Luc Carl whom she had dated for a few years.

Madonna Ungrateful for Fan Gift, 'I Absolutely Loathe Hydrangeas' [VIDEO] - International Business Times

During a press conference, Madonna appeared ungrateful when a fan gave her a bouquet of hydrangeas, muttering under her breath about how she hates the particular flower.

The male fan walked up to Madge during the Venice Film Festival press conference for her new film "W.E." and presented a bunch of purple-blue flowers.

Madonna accepted the flowers smiling and saying "Thank you." Afterward she rolled her eyes and made a sour face while hiding them underneath her seat. Little did Madonna know, the entire incident was caught on microphone and camera.

"I absolutely loathe hydrangeas," she said to Andrea Riseborough, star of "W.E." who was sitting on her right. "He [the fan] obviously doesn't know that."

According to the Los Angeles Times, the fan who gave her the flowers approached Madonna, asking where the bouquet went.

Madonna reportedly said, "Oh, um, my assistant took them."

Madonna also announced during the festival that she is currently working on a new album. Her 12th studio album will debut in spring 2012 as part of her new deal with Live Nation signed in 2007.

"[I've] started a little bit of work in the studio," Madonna told Sweden's Sveriges Television. The Material Girl said she will record in "New York until the end of the year."

Russell Armstrong's Business Associate Committed Suicide One Day After He Did.

This is so bizarre, shocking, and sad.

After Russell Armstrong tragically took his own life, his friend and business associate, Alan Schram, the managing partner at an LA-based hedge fund, was also found dead outside of his car on Mulholland Drive, having shot himself in the head.

Apparently, both men were part of an exclusive organization for high net-worth people who trade info about investments called Tiger 21, and during Russell's service, some of the castmembers of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills were overheard talking about how strange it is that both men took their own lives possibly one day apart.

Neither reportedly left a note, and it's unclear what Schram's financial situation was like.

What on Earth was going on with these men?

Regardless, they clearly had serious issues far beyond just money, and we sincerely hope that wherever they both are, they are at peace.

Our thoughts go out to all their loved ones and families during this impossibly difficult time.

Mel Gibson, Oksana Grigorieva Reach Settlement Over Child's Custody - International Business Times

Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva have reached a final custody and financial settlement in their long-running bitter legal battle, the Los Angeles County Superior Court announced on Friday.

"As the result of a multiday settlement conference, the court announces that Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva have achieved a settlement in their ongoing dispute," the court said in a statement. The terms and conditions of the settlement would be discussed at a hearing next week on Wednesday, the court said.

A spokesman for the "Braveheart" film director confirmed the parties had settled.

Gibson and Grigorieva had been in a dispute over the custody of their 1-year-old daughter, Lucia.

The controversial issue of the custody of the couple's 1-year-old daughter will be handled in a closed session, the court said.

Gibson and Grigorieva had a long-running relationship that ended his 28-year-old marriage just months before Grigorieva gave birth to their daughter.

In March, this year, the "Passion of the Christ" director admitted that Gibson punched Grigorieva during an argument in which he was concerned for the safety of Lucia. The actor pleaded no contest -- the equivalent of guilty -- and was sentenced to three years probation.

The couples have appeared multiple times in court over custody and financial issues with a judge handling their case in Los Angeles.

However, Gibson has never spoken publicly about the case.

Gibson has provided his ex-girlfriend with a four-bedroom, multimillion dollar home,  a vehicle and tens of thousands of dollars a month, Gibson's attorney Stephen Kolodny said in 2010.

Subsequently, the tapes of a furious Gibson telling Grigorieva that she "deserved" the assault surfaced on Radar Online.

The tapes posted damaged Gibson's career. His manager left, a movie's release was delayed and others refused to work with him.

Roughly one month later, Gibson said in a television interview he regarded the leak of the phone calls to the media as a "personal betrayal."

The actress starred in the remake of the "Arthur" this year, but the film was a box office flop.

Garner will appear in the 2012 fantasy drama, "The Odd Life of Timothy Green," with Joel Edgerton and Dianne Wiest.

Celebrity stylist, Rachel Zoe, who is also a new mom, has nothing but praise for how Garner manages to balance work and family.

On Wednesday, Reuters released a poll of opinions of 2,012 Americans on who they feel are the most and least trusted celebrities.

The poll named actress Betty White on the top of the trusted list.

The former 'Golden Girls' star was found to be the best person to endorse a brand to increase business; with 44% of people surveyed more likely to choose a brand she backs.

The 89-year old actress has seen a resurgence of popularity as an Emmy Award winner, one of the stars of the TV show 'Hot in Cleveland', and got a chance to host 'Saturday Night Live'.

Behind White were Oscar winners Denzel Washington, Sandra Bullock and Clint Eastwood as some of the top trusted celebrities.

It also listed celebrities on the opposite side of the spectrum with celebrity heiress Paris Hilton on top of the people who damage a brand they supported.

Behind Hilton was former 'Two and a Half Men' actor Charlie Sheen and followed by Britney Spears, actor Mel Gibson and golfer Tiger Woods.

The singer-entrepreneur used her Twitter account to deny the allegations Perez Hilton made that she was drunk at last night's Adele concert in Los Angeles.

The 31-year-old singer rightfully denied that she was intoxicated while watching the Los Angeles concert of British singer Adele. The rumor started when celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton wrote about Simpson's reaction during the show.

"(Jessica Simpson had) lots of drunken swaying and singing and falling; she had herself a real good time," wrote Hilton, who was also present at the concert and just inches away from Simpson's patron seat. The blogger added that since Simpson seemed to be drunk "she mustn't be pregnant," a rumor that has been recently buzzing around Simpson. The singer, who's engaged to New Orleans Saints NFL player Eric Johnson, retaliated with a post she made in her Twitter account.

"There are rumors that I was 'drunk swaying' at the Adele concert last night," typed Simpson. "That wasn't drunk swaying, that was professional dancing!" adds the singer in the same Twitter post. 

In a recent post, singer Adele has admitted that she used to rely on drinking to honestly write her lyrics in the past.
