Continuing her parade of hit songs, Avril Lavigne just released a music video for her single “Wish You Were Here.”
The “Complicated” songstress took to her Twitter account to share the news about her third single from Goodbye Lullaby.
Avril tweeted, “[The music video is] simple but emotional. Raw and real. Stripped down.”
True to description, Lavigne’s video features her looking tearful as she sings alone in an empty room, moving eventually to a bathtub.
She’s always up to something, and last night (August 23) Avril Lavigne was psotted at the MAGIC Abbey Dawn After-Party in Las Vegas.
The “I’m With You” songstress hammed it up to promote her clothing line at Pure Nightclub inside Caesar’s Palace and looked to be having a marvelous time.
Avril also helped her boyfriend Brody Jenner celebrate his 28th birthday at The Bank Nightclub inside the Bellagio Resort and Casino this week.
Jenner was given a West Coast beach themed birthday cake decorated with surfboards and the names of his favorite surfing spots.

The punk-pop princess is set to expand Abbey Dawn, which up until now has included t-shirts, hoodies and jewelry (decorated with skulls and lightening bolts, natch), and is sold exclusively at Kohls. This year, however, there will be even more pink-graffiti-print to go around. The line will include dresses, denim, skirts, footwear, handbags, wallets, purses and eyewear. And, just so the sk8ter bois don’t feel left out, Lavigne (or her team) will be producing a full men’s collection as well.
The event will take place September 12 at 6:00 pm at Style 360-Metropolitan Pavilion, and the press release promises it will be “a high-energy runway fashion show.”
We just hope boyfriend Brody Jenner and his step-siblings the Kardashians, will make an appearance.
