We don't envy the decision they have to make. Truly, this is a horrible situation for everyone to be in.
Bravo executives will decide in the next day or so the fate of the coming season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The second season of the show was slated to premiere on September 5th, but the apparent suicide of Taylor Armstrong's estranged husband, Russell Armstrong, has put the network in a tough position. Obviously, the couple were in the midst of a tumultuous breakup during the filming of this past season and it would be insensitive to air the footage following his death.
Shooting has yet to wrap, so there is a possibility that execs will scrap the already canned episodes and start over from scratch, but that is a lot of money to throw away. We're not sure how extensively Russell played into the earlier episodes, but it might be possible to edit him out all together. A Bravo spokesperson did reveal, however, that there are no planned shoots for this week.
Whatever they decide to do, we just hope it is in the best interest of Taylor, Kennedy and their family. You can always make more money, but these people are grieving. That should be respected.
