Welcome Back, Beetlejuice!

beetlejuice sequel on its way

While we're sick of Hollywood making tons of mindless, pointless sequels…we must admit we're curious about this one!

Producers David Katzenberg and Seth Grahame-Smith of KatzSmith Productions have signed a two-year first look feature producing deal with Warner Bros, and one of their top upcoming projects is a sequel to the 1988 Tim Burton classic Beetlejuice!

Interestingly enough, this will NOT be a reboot/remake! Instead, this sequel is expected to continue the storyline from the original film. Huh!

All we can say is we hope that Warner Bros and KatzSmith treat this project with care! If we're gonna mess around with the first film, then let's do it right!

Make Otho proud!

How do U feel about another Beetlejuice movie?

Larry Flynt: “The Sitch Is Welcome To Wear Hustler Apparel Anytime!”

Smut purveyor Larry Flynt usually spends his time trying to get people out of their clothes. But in the case of Jersey Shore fist-pumper Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, he’ll make an exception.

The Hustler honcho has reached out to The Sitch with an offer to model his Hustler Apparel clothing line. The spokesmodel offer, which would reportedly bring in massive sums of hair gel money for the former waiter, comes after Sorrentino was publicly shamefaced by Yuppie-favored retailer. Abercrombie & Fitch. The company sparked chuckles and debate when it published an open letter offering the reality star cash to stop wearing their clothing.

What a difference a year makes. Last summer, A&F sold T-shirts inspired by Mike, now they want nothing to do with the shirtless Shorer, offering a “substantial payment” to get him to stop wearing their clothes.

“We are deeply concerned that Mr. Sorrentino’s association with our brand could cause significant damage to our image,” the company said in a statement earlier this month. “We understand that the show is for entertainment purposes, but believe this association is contrary to the aspirational nature of our brand, and may be distressing to many of our fans. We have also extended this offer to other members of the cast, and are urgently waiting a response.”

Burn!

So how did the Situation reply?

“Looks like Abercrombie got themself into a Situation!” he Tweeted, along with a link to an article noting that the clothing brand’s stock had dipped by nine percent.

Ouch!

Of course, Ole Larry isn’t worried about frilly little concepts like “brand damage.”

“The Sitch might not be good enough for Abercrombie & Fitch, but he’s good enough for us,” Flynt said in a release Tuesday.

The X-rated publisher also invited Sorrentino “to explore a variety of clothing options” that Hustler Apparel has to offer.
