Reese Witherspoon Hit by Car While Jogging

Wednesday, actress Reese Witherspoon was hit by a car while jogging in Santa Monica. She did not suffer any major injures and was released from a nearby hospital the same day. The 84-year old driver who hit Witherspoon will not face charges although the driver failed to yield. According to reports, the driver received a ticket and will have to retake her driver’s test.

Celebrities Come Out for Fashion’s Night Out

Thursday night, celebrities, fashionistas and shoppers took to NYC’s best stores to take part of Fashion’s Night Out. From SoHo to Madison Avenue, celebrities made appearances at some of their favorite stores. Some of the main appearances: Stylist Rachel Zoe made her rounds at Bloomingdales. Whitney Port of  MTV’s The City joined Diane Von Furstenberg at an event. Michael Kors rocked out with the Rocketts at Rockefeller Center. Olsen Twins Mary Kate and Ashley celebrated the night with JCPenney. Teen star Justin Bieber, Usher and Vogue editor Anna Wintour all enjoyed the night at Dolce & Gabbana.

Carmelo Anthony phone stolen; Pictures of Lala Leak

According to a report in the New York Post, Knicks’ player Carmelo Anthony had his two phones stolen at a charity game. “Fans bum-rushed the court to get close to the guys after the game,” a source told Page Six. “Carmelo’s phones were stolen during all of the chaos.” Days later, photos of his wife, Lala Vasquez, in lingerie surfaced on the Internet.  A rep from Anthony’s camp said the phones had not been returned.

Beyonce Unveils Baby Bump at VMAs

To the surprise of eager fans, Beyonce announced her pregnancy to the world by cradling her bulging stomach on the VMA "black" carpet. For those who missed the pre-show, the singer rubbed her baby bump after performing "Love on Top" from her latest album Four. This will be the first child for the 30-year-old singer and rapper husband, Jay-Z.

Chaz Bono Stirs Up Controversy for DWTS

Chaz Bono, the only child of Cher and Sonny Bono, is drawing some negative attention to ABC's hit ballroom dancing competition. Bono was born a woman but later underwent a sex change. The network has received several complaints from conservative fans and groups who are offended that a "family program" would cast a transgender on the show. Cher took to Twitter to defend her son, calling critics "stupid bigots."

Venus Williams Pulls Out of U.S. Open

Venus Williams announced her withdrawal from the U.S. Open this week because of a rare auto-immune disorder. Sjopgren's Syndrome, which causes fatigue, dryness of the mouth and eyes, and musculoskeletal problems, has left the tennis star unable to finish the tournament.  Williams said, "I enjoyed playing my first match here, and wish I could continue but right now I am unable to."

T.I. Lands Himself Back In Federal Custody

Days after being released from prison, rapper T.I. is headed back. According to his attorney, the rapper was taken back into federal custody Thursday after arriving at a half way house. Apparently, there was an issue with party bus he took to get to the half way house.

Dancing With the Stars Announce Their Fall Lineup

The hit dancing completion announced their lineup for their 13th season, which premiers on September 19.  Contestants include Lakers star Ron Artest, Kardashian little brother Rob and former talk show host Ricki Lake. Visit MTV.com for a complete list.

All styled up for another cover girl effort, Jennifer Love Hewitt graces the front page of the September 2011 issue of Zooey magazine.

The former "Ghost Whisperer" actress posed for the stylish spread adorning the publication's one year anniversary "Celebration" installment while chatting about topics such as embracing herself, Hollywood being like high school and dreaming big.

On women being sexier when they reveal less skin:

"I think women are actually sexier the less they reveal because a man (or woman's) imagination is so much better that what we look like."

On Hollywood being like high school:

"Hollywood is like high school. It's wonderful, it's hard. Everyone just wants to fit in and find where they belong. You make lots of friends you hope to keep forever and re okay with the fact that you may only get to keep a few. It's a place I love."

On her advice to women facing criticism for the way that they look (as she's dealt with in the past):

"Just remember how lucky we are to be women! It's awesome. We have so much power and grace."

On dreaming big:

"If you know what you want, go and get it. Fight for it with grace and calm. No dream is too big if you're willing to work for it."

With her sex appeal helping to stretch her popularity overseas, Megan Fox was chosen to cover popular Italian magazine Amica's September 2011 issue.

The "Passion Play" actress got all dolled up for a fashionable photo shoot adorning the publication's pages while chatting about topics including her "sex-bomb" status, piercings and tattoos and fitness efforts.

On what's happening to her Marilyn Monroe tattoo:
"I'm removing it. It is a negative character, as she suffered from personality disorders and was bipolar. I do not want to attract this kind of negative energy in my life."

On her navel piercing:
"Oh, this? I did it when I was 16-years-old because I was a fan of Britney Spears. The only time I tried to imitate someone else. But then I thought it was tacky and so I removed it when I turned 20.

On being dubbed as a 'sex-bomb':
"What they call me sexy is not something that I can operate or shut down at will, but something that shines through as a journey, from how I talk, how I move. On the screen, I seem very sure of myself, but the real world is the place where I feel more conflict."

On if she'd be happy if she had a daughter who wanted to be an actress:
"I would not be happy but wouldn't prevent her from doing so. I just would hope [my child] had a strong character, because you have to be strong to do this job. If she was weak and too emotional, I would not advise it."

On whether there's something about her body that she dislikes:
"Of course, I have a lot of flaws. But I do not tell them - ever."

On how she stays so fit:
"For a year and a half, until about four months ago, I followed a strict vegan diet based on raw fruits and vegetables, no bread, sugar and coffee. But I had lost too much weight. So now I eat a bit of everything. I train three times a week doing circuit training (a series of exercises with tools that improve muscle power, etc) with my trainer Harley Pasternak (the guru of the five factors of the Diet)."

Zoe Saldana's Sexy GQ September Spread

She’s always been a favorite of guys the world over, and Zoe Saldana is quickening pulses in the September issue of GQ magazine, on newsstands August 23rd.

The “Avatar” babe looks super sexy in a skimpy black getup as she poses provocatively for the men’s magazine.

And in the accompanying interview, Zoe described how her character from her new movie “Colombiana” almost came out when she recently witnessed a bar fight.

“I knew exactly what I was going to do- Kick this door, grab this, move that guy out of the way. Then I started laughing: Oh, my God, I still have Cataleya in my system.”
