Jessica Simpson Gives Up High Heels for Second Pregnancy, "Practicing" Walking in Flats

Jessica Simpson's feet are closer to the ground these days. The pregnant designer and Fashion Star mentor, 32, has eschewed her beloved high heels as her second pregnancy progresses -- and apparently she needs practice! "Practicing walking in flats around my house," Simpson tweeted late Friday, March 29, with an accompanying picture.

"Jessica is no longer wearing heels," a source told Us Weekly about two weeks ago. "Her feet are swollen and hurt, and high heels hurt her back."

Expecting a son this time around with fiance Eric Johnson, Simpson made a similar, necessary sacrifice during her first pregnancy with daughter Maxwell Drew, nearly 11 months.

"I went to the doctor yesterday and he said, 'You're gonna need to get out of those heels!'" she told Us Weekly in November 2011, a month after confirming her first pregnancy. "I was like, 'Excuse me! I'll be delivering in these heels!"

"I can't wait for the day I can walk in heels again!" the Fashionista tweeted shortly before Maxwell's May 2012 birth. "My feet feel homesick!"

Simpson has admitted the pregnancy number two hasn't been as carefree as the first. "It's a totally different pregnancy. I just feel awful, I've been vomiting," Simpson said earlier this month on Jimmy Kimmel Live. "The crazy thing is I never knew a wiener could make me nauseous."

Kelly Rowland Talks Beyonce's Pregnancy

Stepping out in style as she arrived for an evening of top-notch musical entertainment, Kelly Rowland was spotted at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards and House of Hype's after party in Los Angeles, California last night (August 28).

Hitting the all-new black carpet, the "Motivation" songstress strutted her stuff in a super-sexy low-cut black and gold number - as the dress was a showstopper while offering both sheer and feathered accents set off by platform peep-toe pumps.

Celebrating the latest rendition of the annual affair, Kelly continued her night at SLS Hotel while joining a slew of other celebs in a strapless blue-frock.

Meanwhile, Miss Rowland has opened up about her good gal pal Beyonce's just announced pregnancy - offering nothing but kind words for her former fellow Destiny's Child group member.

"She takes so many traits from her mother, and I just think it's going to be so natural for her. It's natural for her now!," she told Us weekly, adding, "I think she'll be an incredible mother, because she's always been motherly."

Beyonce's Pregnancy News Sets Twitter Record

Her fans are some of the most loyal in the world, and Beyoncé Knowles had quite the reaction to her pregnancy news on the social networking website Twitter.

During the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night (August 28), tweets regarding the “Crazy in Love” singer’s bun in the oven hit a high of 8,868 per second at 10:35pm ET. Previous record holders were the Women’s World Cup, Osama bin Laden’s death, and Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding.

The “Run The World (Girls)” songstress will be scaling back her responsibilities in preparation for her soon-to-be-born, but she’s still staying signed on for the October 8th Michael Jackson Tribute Concert.

According to Knowles’ rep, she’ll sing via satellite and her “pregnancy will not affect her performance.”

And since she’s said to be about four months along currently, that means Beyonce will be halfway through her fifth month when she takes the stage in October.

Alyssa Milano Is Ready to Pop! Shares New Pregnancy Photo on Twitter - Babble (blog)

Alyssa Milano looks like she is ready to pop any minute now!  The expectant mom is due any day now and it looks like the baby is just about ready to make his debut.

Alyssa took to Twitter to share a brand new photo of her pregnant self alongside her beloved Dodger dog last night.  The photo aptly titled “Dodger Dog and my bump” showed a casual Alyssa lounging on the couch with minimal makeup and hair snuggling her favorite pal.

The posting of the pic came hot on the heals of a week long debate with her Twitter followers on whether or not the baby is overdue.  It all started with a couple small comments with concern for Alyssa and ended with the following statement from the stars, “Guys, I’m not over due… Not even close. I’m normal amounts of pregnant. Patience. Let the little dude do what he needs to do. Patience. :)”

The real deal is that nobody truly knows if she’s overdue or not.  Alyssa has kept the due date a big secret so that she won’t get stalked by the paparazzi when it is time to head to the hospital.  The only flaw in the plan is that it means that she will get stalked absolutely everywhere she goes until the baby arrives.
