A Night Frankenstein At The Museum! Shawn Levy To Direct New Frankie Flick

shawn levy directing frankenstein movie

There are SO many Frankenstein projects in the works, we can't even keep track anymore!

We're not particularly enthused to announce that A Night at the Museum director Shawn Levy has just signed on to direct a new Frankenstein movie for Fox.

Other directors who were in the running included Bourne director Paul Greengrass and Harry Potter director David Yates, but in the end Shawn Levy seemed like he'd make the studio the most money be the best candidate.

Does this mean that you'll no longer be directing Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, Shawn???

What do U think? Is the Night at the Museum director the right guy for Frankenstein?

Weird! New Rambo Flick Has Same Title As Upcoming Arnold Movie

rambo 5 has same title as arnold flick

Come on, guys! Let's get a little bit more creative with our titles!

Back in 2006, Brett Ratner released the third X-Men movie, which he titled X-Men: The Last Stand.

Then, back in April, we first heard that Arnold Schwarzenegger had a new project on the horizon, which is titled Last Stand.

NOW, we're hearing that progress is once again being made on Sylvester Stallone's new Rambo flick, which is being titled….wait for it….drum roll…..Rambo: Last Stand!

Here's what screenwriter Sean Hood had to say about the new Rambo movie:

"I recently finished a first draft of Rambo: Last Stand (Rambo 5) for Millennium films, based on a story idea by Sylvester Stallone. Hopefully, Mr. Stallone will eventually have the time and the inclination to do another Rambo."

More from Sean Hood about the less-than-creatively titled Rambo sequel:

"I met with Mr Stallone twice last year…He gave me a book, an older screenplay, and about twenty pages he’d written himself to use as inspiration for the last chapter of the Rambo saga…It’s more in line with the small-town thriller of First Blood."

Sorry Stallone, but we can't say we're TOO excited for this one.

We ARE excited, though, for Die Hard: The Last Stand, 007: The Last Stand, and Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol: The Last Stand! Ha!

What do U think about another Rambo flick? Can U think of a more creative title for it???

Hellraiser Creator Clive Barker Says He Has NOTHING To Do With New Flick

Looks like the creator of Pinhead is raising some HELL over this new movie!

Last week, we saw the trailer for the new Hellraiser flick (above), and while we didn't think it looked TOO scary, we still thought it could be fun.

Now, the man who created the horror series, Clive Barker, has opened up about the new flick, and he is NOT happy with it.

Here's what he had to say about it on Twitter:

"Hello, my friends. I want to put on record that the flic [sic] out there using the word Hellraiser is no f***in' child of mine. I have nothing to do with the fuckin' thing. If they claim its from the mind of Clive Barker,it's a lie. It's not even from my butt-hole."

While we already sort of assumed that Barker wasn't involved with this new one, it kind of takes the fun out of it to hear him talk about it so angrily.

…To redbox or not to redbox…

What do U think? Will U still watch Hellraiser: Revelations, even though the series creator is condemning it???
