As previously reported, Heidi Klum was the heroine during a family beach vacation in Oahu, Hawaii on March 31 when a dangerous riptide threatened the lives of her 7-year-old son, Henry, plus two nannies. Newly released photos from the scary incident show the bikini-clad Project Runway host, 39, coming to the aid of her little boy and a nanny in the choppy surf -- grabbing Henry by the wrist and later dragging the nanny to safety.

2. Amanda Bynes Claims She Has a Redheaded Impostor: Picture

Is the red-haired Amanda Bynes spotted in New York City actually a red herring? On Tuesday, April 2 -- one day before Bynes' 27th birthday -- a woman who appeared to be the What I Like About You actress was photographed walking around Manhattan with dyed magenta hair. (The woman in question had the former Nickelodeon star's cheek piercings, sunglasses, lips, and jewelry -- including a red and silver ring that the "real Bynes" wears on her right hand.)

"She's a little more than three months along and starting to show," the source says of the Scottsdale, Ariz. native. The dad-to-be is the star's longtime boyfriend Taylor Hubbell, whom she met in high school.

Skechers Is Also Being Investigated by the FTC for its Toning Shoe Claims

On Wednesday the Federal Trade Commission announced that Reebok was going to have to reimburse $25 million to consumers for false claims it made about its so-called “toning shoe” benefits. While a Reebok spokesperson told Bloomberg that “settling does not mean we agree with the FTC’s allegations; we do not,” it doesn’t matter at this point, does it? They have to pay up.

The obvious question was, “Who’s next?” The obvious answer? Skechers, who advertises the heck out of ShapeUps–using Kardashians–and even has a line for children. According to the same Bloomberg report, Skechers acknowledged in a US Securites and Exchange Commission filing that the FTC had contacted the shoe company over its toning claims. Skechers response was that it would “defend” its claims. We won’t be surprised to hear that they’ll eventually have to pay up, too.

An analyst interviewed by Bloomberg theorized that if Skechers’ toning claims are discovered to be unfounded, that they would have to pay more than Reebok. What’s most interesting about all this is that as a category, the sales of these shoes have been declining anyway. (Um, maybe because people are figuring out they don’t do anything?)

Is this the final nail in the coffin of gimmicky exercise shoes? We suspect not. After all, those weird five-toe minimalist anti-shoes are all the rage now.

'Teen Mom' Star Gary Shirley Denies Claims He Is Broke and Evicted - Babble (blog)

'Teen Mom' star Gary Shirley may be broke.

Earlier, it was reported that Teen Mom star Gary Shirley is dead broke and had been evicted from his home. This, of course, led to worry regarding the custody and well being of his daughter, Leah, with Amber Portwood.

But according to Gary, this is all simply not true.

He tweets, “Rumors of being broke are false. I’ve chosen to move and am in that transition. Leah is completely fine and obviously always cared for.”

The cast members on the hit MTV reality show make an estimated $60,000 to $65,000 a season, which is roughly $6,000 per episode. That’s pennies compared to the Jersey Shore cast who each rake in $100,000 an episode!
