Looking to once again revive her career, Whitney Houston is in negotiations to star in a remake of a 1976 musical drama titled “Sparkle.”
According to a report, the “I Will Always Love You” songstress is keen to get back on the silver screen, and this could be her big chance.
“Sparkle” already has stars like Jordin Sparks and Mike Epps on the roster, as well as “Jumping the Broom” director Salim Akil.
“Sparkle” is inspired by the true story of The Supremes, with Sparks playing Sparkle, Epps taking the role of a stand-up comedian, and possibly Houston as Sparkle’s mother Effie.
