The rumormill is in overdrive as blogs and celebrity gossip sites all are vying to be the first to leak the names of the 2011 Dancing with the Stars cast before they are officially announced tonight on ABC.
It has been common knowledge that David Arquette, the troubled estranged husband of Courtney Cox, will be among the cast. But now, there are more…
Other rumored cast members include Sonny and Cher’s daughter turned son, Chaz Bono, former Saved by the Bell star Tiffani Thiessen, Keeping Up with the Kardashians‘ Rob Kardashian, former Hills meanie Kristin Cavallari, George Clooney’s ex-girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis, former talk-show host Ricki Lake, All My Children star J.R. Martinez, actor Ryan O’Neal, U.S. women’s soccer goalie Hope Solo (who?), singer-actress Chynna Phillips, Casey Anthony’s nemesis Nancy Grace, and NBA player Ron Artest.
E!’s sources had reported that there was one celebrity not yet leaked who is “far more controversial” than the others. We’re not sure who that is, but we’ll soon find out tonight whe full cast will be revealed during ABC’s Bachelor Pad.
As with every Dancing with the Stars season, there are some contestants who will spark controversy (see: Nancy Grace) and others that are pretty dull (see: Hope Solo), those who have sex appeal (see: Elisabetta Canalis) and those who will probably not do so hot (see: Chaz Bono). And, as always with Dancing with the Stars, there will be shocking moments and stupid, cheesy dance routines. But in the end, it will again probably be the highest-rated show on television, and as usual, we will get our Dancing with the Stars odds together so you can place your bets. You’re welcome.
