Arnie's Son Patrick Says The Family Is Doing "Well"

It's been a rough year, but they're a tough family. We have no doubt that they'll pull through.

Patrick Schwarzenegger, aside from being undeniably attractive, is also the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver. His parent's divorce and his father's scandal were particular low points for the family this year, along with Patrick's younger brother's devastating surfing accident just a few weeks ago.

All of this drama would take its toll on any family, but Patrick insists that the brood is holding strong and has persevered through the pain. He explains:

"Everyone is doing well, really well. My brother has recovered [from his surfing accident], he's healthy, and we're all enjoying the last few days of summer … Work takes your mind off other things. I've spent a lot of time working, and also I have school during the year, so I'm booked up during the day. My mind is usually thinking about those things."

You're a very strong kid. We're really impressed with you. You're handling this situation with the maturity of someone twice your age. Bet your Mom is super proud of you.
