Kim Kardashian Is A Star, But She Can't Have One On The Walk Of Fame

Whomp, whomp!

If you've ever been to Hollywood Blvd, you know the Walk of Fame pretty well. As you stride down the street, your feet kick up dust, dirt and garbage off of Hollywood's most beloved icons: Michael Jackson, Judy Garland, Big Bird…

But do you know whose name you won't ever find immortalized forever in a gold star? Kim Kardashian. Kate Gosselin. Camille Grammer. Snooki.

That's because, when asked if the reality show stars will one day find themselves mingling with other stars on the walk like Britney Spears and Ryan Seacrest, Ana Martinez, Vice President for Media Relations and Producer for the Hollywood Walk of Fame, said and we quote: "Hell to the No!"

Such a comeback, huh?

Look, we get it. The industry still isn't ready to accept reality television as a medium worth honoring. Fine, okay. Still, the committee should start thinking about widening their range of eligible nominees. If reality TV isn't dignified enough for an exception, what about allowing artists in new media to apply for a star? Like say, a pop culture blogger who has been in the business for about seven years and uses his site to update people not only in entertainment news but relevant and important humanitarian causes? That sounds like a guy worth giving a star to!

GIVE US A STAR!!!!
